If only I could play jazz/swing music, I would make this my crooner song. The situational is fictional. . . but I wish it wasn't.

An astronomer spends so many nights

staring at the stars

he forgets that once they called to him

like a lover to her bed

But I, I’m still amazed

every step I take moves me closer

always looking for constellations

in the stars in your eyes

is just part of being me

I don’t know where life will take me
